14-Day Ultimate Denali

June 27 - July 11, 2027

Itinerary       Pricing

June 27 - 28: Fairbanks, Alaska

Fairbanks, Alaska’s second-largest city, offers a mix of modern attractions and rich history. Known as the Golden Heart, it’s a gateway to the arctic, boasting lively festivals, river cruises, and the chance to see the awe-inspiring Northern Lights. Explore restored gold rush buildings, savor local cuisine, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Fairbanks. This is where your exciting cruisetour adventure begins!

June 29 - 30: Denali National Park, Alaska

At an impressive 20,310 feet above sea level, Denali isn’t just any mountain; it’s the centerpiece of Alaska’s interior, a shining jewel rising above pristine Alaska wilderness. Good news if you want more than just a glimpse of “the Great One.” And that’s simply the cherry on top of the wilderness sundae. Denali is home to some iconic wildlife and stunning views. It’s a must-visit on any Alaskan itinerary.

July 1: Anchorage, Alaska

This morning, board the luxurious domed rail cars of the McKinley Explorer bound for Anchorage. Anchorage, Alaska, is a haven for nature lovers. With its national parks, scenic trails, and abundant wildlife—from city moose to majestic whales—Anchorage is a must-visit.

July 2 - 3: Alyeska, Alaska

After a morning at leisure in Anchorage, enjoy time at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center on your way to Alyeska Resort - your 5-star base camp for optional excursions, fine dining, and luxurious spa services.

Explore on your own or take optional excursions with an entire free day at Alyeska. Don’t miss the chance to take the scenic aerial tram ride up Mt. Alyeska and enjoy adventures such as hiking or fishing throughout the Girdwood Valley.

July 4: Whittier, Alaska - Embarkation

After a morning at leisure at the Alyeska Resort, you’ll head to Whittier to board your ship.

The Whittier, Alaska cruise port is a unique stop on a Holland America Line cruise tour. Home to stunning wildlife and a high concentration of glaciers, it offers outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and kayaking. With its small-town charm and practical layout, where most town services are under one roof, Whittier promises a memorable experience.

July 5: Cruising Hubbard Glacier

July 6: Glacier Bay

Cruise the ice-studded fjords of this national treasure for a full eight hours as a Park Service Ranger narrates.

On your cruise to Glacier Bay, close your eyes and take in the sounds—the creaks and groans of “living” ice, the shrill cries of gulls and soaring eagles, the splash of a breaching humpback whale. Frosted peaks towering over mossy forests, wide tidewater glaciers (there are seven in the park), and marine wildlife are givens on Glacier Bay cruises, but every experience in this changing biosphere is unique.

July 7: Skagway, Alaska

At the height of the Klondike Gold Rush, the port town of Skagway served as the primary gateway to the legendary gold fields, and quickly grew into Alaska’s largest settlement. It was then a raucous frontier hub packed with trading posts, saloons and guesthouses. As the gold rush faded into the 1900s, so did Skagway—but today it has been reinvigorated as a gateway for a new kind of visitor: those looking to explore Alaska’s colorful history, pristine wildlife and unrivaled natural beauty.

July 8: Juneau, Alaska

Visit the most remote, most beautiful and strangest state capital in the United States. Surrounded by water, forest and mountain sights, visitors seeking things to do in Juneau indoors and outdoors can hike a glacier, eat fresh-caught fish on a seaside patio and tour a grand capitol building all in one day.

July 9: Ketchikan, Alaska

Alaska’s “First City” of Ketchikan is so named because it’s the first major landfall for most cruisers as they enter the picturesque fjords of the Inside Passage, where the town clings to the banks of the Tongass Narrows, flanked by green forests nurtured by abundant rain.

July 10: Scenic Cruising the Inside Passage

July 11: Vancouver, B.C. Canada - Disembark

The time has come to disembark and make our way back home with all the wonderful memories made on our trip.
