After a 30-year career in education, I retired in 2020.  I have been married for 33 years to my high school sweetheart, Larry.  We have one daughter, Lauren, who is married to our son-in-law, Kenny. they have a 4-year-old daughter: our granddaughter, Emmy.  We are so in love with our little Emmy!

I was born and raised in Conyers, Georgia.  My husband and I spent our early marriage years in Metro Atlanta, and then moved to Savannah, Georgia in 2010.  After my retirement in 2020, we relocated to Daytona Beach.  I am a beach lover and I love it!

Best Travel Experience: My best travel experience was spending our honeymoon in Cancun on an all-inclusive vacation.  We took a sailboat to an island where we snorkeled at a reef and saw the most amazing sights!!

Where do you want to travel next? We have always wanted to go out west and see Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and Jackson Hole among other sights.

When you travel what do you look for? When I travel at the age I am now, I always look for relaxation and great food and drinks.  I love the outdoors, and any place tropical.  

Favorite place to get food in the entire world? I absolutely love a dive bar atmosphere where there is live music and amazing seafood. Places like Hog's Breath Saloon.

Favorite souvenir from a trip? I love to collect ornaments for my Christmas tree so that I can reflect each year on the places I've traveled to.
