Where are you from? I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina but I have lived in The United States for 25 years. I live in Orlando, Florida 

Best Travel Experience: So many to choose from! I will probably say Germany and Austria 2018. Beautiful Christmas markets, beautifully decorated streets, churches, and even alleyways! A true white Christmas.

Fun Travel Story: There is a very popular gelateria in Florence, Italy, called Vivoli. We knew about it from watching various shows on Italy, so it was on our bucket list to visit. The owner’s name is Silvana. We went to visit one afternoon, and she happened to be there. I was so excited, and I told her my name was also Silvana! She was very sweet and inviting and she gave me my favorite gelato scoop for free! Made my day. 

When you travel, what do you look for in the experience? I love to become a local when I travel.  I love to know where the locals eat, shop and I plan my trips around that.  I “get lost” in my surroundings and discover incredible places and meet different people to share stories with.  

Favorite Place in the World: Another difficult one. I will have to say Italy is my favorite place in the world. My mom was from Italy, and I am an Italian citizen, so I do have a special connection. Every time I visit, I could just stay forever. 

Travel Planning Motto: “Uncover the world’s tapestry.” 

Favorite place to get food in the entire world? Well, if we talk about savory food, I will say Italy. For sweets I like France. 

Favorite souvenir from a trip? I collect small flags from every country I go to, as well as patches, which I attach to a backpack that travels with me everywhere.
