As autumn arrives, it is perfect timing to step into the landscape of the fiery red, orange and yellow flames of fall foliage. Join us on our Roseborough Exclusive Fall Foliage Bus Trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. On our scenic road trip, we will leave behind the palm trees and beaches of central Florida and journey northbound for the mountains of Tennessee.
Bright and early, our day begins with our departure from Roseborough Travel by motorcoach on our way to Athens, GA! Located in northeastern Georgia, Athens is home to a lively culture and gorgeous scenery. The city sits just below the foothills of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, and is full of quirky shops and historic museums. The Southern charm emanates from every corner, but especially from the restored, Victorian-era Downtown district.

October 21, 2019 - Great Smoky Mountains
We’ll start our morning off right with a visit to The State Botanical Gardens of Georgia, located right in Athens. The gardens are a part of the University of Georgia and feature many different trails, gardens and greenhouses with a stunning range of flora and fauna. The Flower Garden alone is broken up into several different sections: the Annual Garden, the Fragrance Garden, and the Meditation Garden just to name a few. Later, we’ll travel to Saunooke’s Village in Cherokee, NC, to meet our guide for our tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The mountains are world famous for their ancient beauty and the diversity of animal and plant life. In fall, the trees do their annual shift from green to vibrant reds, yellows and oranges. This evening, we’ll enjoy Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner show. The North and South will be pitted against each other in a friendly and fun rivalry as the cast of top-notch riders on their 32 magnificent horses thrill us with their daring feats and tricks.
