October 20, 2019 - Depart DeLand for Athens, GA

Bright and early, our day begins with our departure from Roseborough Travel by motorcoach on our way to Athens, GA! Located in northeastern Georgia, Athens is home to a lively culture and gorgeous scenery. October 21, 2019 - Great Smoky Mountains

We’ll start our morning off right with a visit to The State Botanical Gardens of Georgia, located right in Athens. The gardens are a part of the University of Georgia and feature many different trails, gardens and greenhouses with a stunning range of flora and fauna. The Flower Garden alone is broken up into several different sections: the Annual Garden, the Fragrance Garden, and the Meditation Garden just to name a few. Later, we’ll travel to Saunooke’s Village in Cherokee, NC, to meet our guide for our tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The mountains are world famous for their ancient beauty and the diversity of animal and plant life. In fall, the trees do their annual shift from green to vibrant reds, yellows and oranges. This evening, we’ll enjoy Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner show. The North and South will be pitted against each other in a friendly and fun rivalry as the cast of top-notch riders on their 32 magnificent horses thrill us with their daring feats and tricks.
